Introduction to OCLS
From Rachel Walters on August 27th, 2019
My name is Rachel Walters, and I am the Online Librarian with Off Campus Library Services or OCLS here at Indiana Wesleyan University.
OCLS is the virtual library for the IWU National and Global campus. There are thousands of books, both print and e-books; journal articles, and streaming media, all available with a few keystrokes! Here at OCLS we help students and faculty with research, library technology, and APA writing style. OCLS has a team of full-time librarians ready to help you.
One of the most important things to remember is our homepage address ocls.indwes.edu. From here you will have access to all of our services.
There are several ways you can contact us. You may contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, by phone at 1-800-521-1848, or use the OCLS Request Form on our homepage. Chat is also available and staffed weekdays from 9 am - 5 pm.
The OCLS office is staffed Monday - Thursday: 8 am - 8 pm, Friday: 8 am - 5 pm and Saturday 9:30 am - 2 pm. Services are limited on Saturday, but there is a librarian on call for a few hours to help you with any questions you might have over the weekend.
We highly recommend that you bookmark our homepage, save our phone number to your contacts, and our save our email to your email contacts so that you are able to contact us when you are away from your computer or on the go.
When you contact us you will hear back within ONE business day. Most of the time it is sooner, but give yourself enough time to request help before an assignment is due.
Remember that OCLS is always here to help you succeed!
